The curtains are much nicer than I expected. The outer curtain is velvety and heavy - very good for light blocking and temperature control. I was afraid the fringed valance would be a little too feminine but it isn't at all. Since it all goes on one rod it went up very easily. I love the funky tie-backs that came with the sets. We ordered these along with the bed in a bag set for my teen daughter's room. They are great! I love how they are all one piece- valance, panel and sheer. It makes it easy to hang them without a lot of additional hardware. The sheers are zebra patterned and they have nice big tassels to tie back the panels. We are really pleased with these.
